JUDE JAKUBEC

Jude Jakubec is a Houston-area artist that has graduated  the University of Houston-Clearlake with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Concentrating on studio art, Jude uses multi-media techniques including painting, drawing, and printmaking.

 

Since high school they have been winning awards from the Houston Livestock and Rodeo, Brazoria County Fair, and Exhibitions on the UHCL campus. 

Jude has been involved in several collaborations and Group Exhibitions such as an Honorable Mention in the 2021 Senior BFA Exhibition and the 2020 Exquisite Corpse Mural.

 

Today, through the combination of animal-human figures, and native plants of Texas, they highlight similarities of how humans interact and see each other, and with the land around us. Jude currently works a day job and continues to grow their portfolio, starting their small business from the ground up, aiming to continue participating in Exhibitions and art shows.
